General Admission Requirements For North Cyprus Universities

For all aspiring students who intend to study in North Cyprus, it is worth noting that there are some minimum requirements students must satisfy in order to gain admission in a Northern Cyprus university.

These requirements may slightly vary per university, but in this post, we shall address the topic generally.

Admission into Undergraduate Programs in North Cyprus Universities:

•  Higher School Certificate (GCE Advanced Level / BAC) or equivalent.
•  Scanned copy of passport or birth certificate.
•  TOEFL (513 PBT / 65 IBT) or IELTS (5.5). Students who have studied in English do not need to proof English Language proficiency – A document from their school attesting that fact will suffice. For students without English proficiency, an English exam can be taken upon arriving at school in North Cyprus. Please talk to a Blue Ocean Agent about your particular situation.
• Scan copy of the international passport/birth certificate.

Admission into Master Programs in North Cyprus Universities:

• A valid Bachelor-level Degree from a recognized university.
• Bachelor Degree transcripts for each completed academic term/year.
• TOEFL (513 PBT / 65 IBT) or IELTS (5.5). Students without English proficiency can take an English exam upon arriving at school. Please talk to a Blue Ocean Agent about your particular situation.
• Scan copy of the international passport/birth certificate. 

Admission into PhD Programs in North Cyprus Universities:

• A valid Master-level Degree and Master Degree transcripts for each completed academic term/year.
• TOEFL (513 PBT / 65 IBT) or IELTS (5.5). Students without English proficiency can take an English exam upon arriving at school. Please talk to a Blue Ocean Agent about your particular situation.
• Scan copy of the international passport/birth certificate.
